Player Guide

Everything you need to know to play on Vanilla World: Reloaded — from claiming your first home to duels, PvP, and VIP perks.

Getting Started

New here? This is everything you need to get settled in on Survival, Skyblock, or the PvP server.

Claim Your First Home

/start

The moment you join Survival, Skyblock, or the PvP server, run /start to get your first home. You'll be dropped into a safe spot out in the wilderness (Skyblock instead gives you a small floating island with an ore vein and a loot chest), along with starter tools, food, and armor to get going. Not available on the Hub.

Reset Your Home

/start confirm

Want a fresh start? Running /start again with confirm wipes your current home, inventory, ender chest, and waypoints, then rerolls a brand new location. It's on a cooldown — 24 hours on Survival, 1 hour on Skyblock, and no wait at all on the PvP server.

Return Home

/home

Teleports you straight back to your home. If you haven't claimed one yet, it'll point you toward /start.

Relocate Your Home

/sethome

On the PvP server, this instantly moves your home to wherever you're standing. On Survival and Skyblock, self-service moves are turned off — open a support ticket with /modreq instead so a staff member can move it for you.

Move In With a Friend

/sharehome <player>

Invite another player to live with you. If they accept, their own home and waypoints on that server are replaced with yours and you become housemates.

Open the Server Menu

/menu

A one-stop menu for homes, spawn, waypoints, teleport requests, friends, teams, preferences, shops, duels, bounties, and more. See the Server Menu section below for the full tour.

In-Game Help Menu

/vwrhelp

Also works as /help or /?. Opens a clickable, categorized list of commands split into General, Teleportation, Economy, PvP, and VIP.

Vote for the Server

/vote

Lists six clickable voting-site links. Voting earns you Vote Diamonds — see Vote Diamonds & Rewards below.

Join the Discord

/discord

Posts a clickable invite link to our community Discord server.

Login Reward Reminders

Every time you log into Survival, Skyblock, or the PvP server, you'll get a quick reminder of any unclaimed Daily Reward days or vote rewards waiting for you, along with a hint on how to claim them.

Welcome New Players

When a brand-new player joins for the very first time, a 30-second window opens up — say hello ("hi", "welcome", "wb", and similar greetings all count) in Global chat during that window for a chance to win a free Vote Diamond.

Teleportation & Homes

Request a Teleport

/tpa <player>

Sends a teleport request to another player. You can send one every 15 seconds, and requests expire after 5 minutes if nobody answers.

Answer Teleport Requests

/tpaccept, /tpdeny

Accept or deny an incoming request. If you have more than one pending, add the player's name to pick which one.

View Pending Requests

/tplist

Lists every teleport request waiting for your answer, with clickable accept/deny buttons.

Random Teleport

/rtpSupporter or higher

Only works while standing in the Wild world — teleports you to a random safe spot far from spawn. The cooldown shrinks the higher your rank: 24 hours for Supporter, 1 hour for VIP, and 30 minutes for VIP+.

Return to Spawn

/spawn

Teleports you back to the server spawn.

Teleport Safety Window

Every plugin teleport (home, spawn, waypoints, accepted TPA requests) has a short warm-up before it fires — usually about a second, but up to 5 seconds on the PvP server if you're away from spawn. Moving or taking damage during the warm-up cancels it, and you can't teleport at all while flagged in PvP combat.

Personal Waypoints

/waypoint <name> (alias /wp)Donator PerkFree on PvP Server

Set your own warp points with /waypoint set <name>, remove one with /waypoint delete <name>, list them with /waypoint list, and warp with /waypoint <name> (30-second cooldown between warps). Everyone gets at least one free waypoint slot on the PvP server; on Survival and Skyblock, waypoints are a rank perk, with higher ranks unlocking more slots.

Tracking Compasses

PvP Server Only

A special Tracking Compass (found in Supply Drops) points you toward the nearest enemy within 250 blocks and has 5 uses before it breaks. A plain vanilla compass works too, with unlimited uses, pointing at the nearest player and showing their distance.

PvP & Combat

Toggle PvP Protection

/pvpNot on PvP Server

Turns PvP protection on or off (it's always on, on the PvP server). You need to stand still for 5 seconds while it switches. While protected, you can't hit other players and they can't hit you.

Combat Log

PvP Server Only

Dealing or taking PvP damage flags you 'in combat' for 45 seconds. While flagged, every teleport command is blocked. Disconnect during that window and you're killed instantly, with the server notified that you combat-logged — so don't log out mid-fight.

Kill Streaks

PvP Server Only

The server tracks your ongoing kill streak. Every 5th kill in a row triggers a server-wide announcement and rewards you with a free Vote Diamond. Dying resets your streak (duel kills don't count toward it).

Place & Collect Bounties

/bounty [player] [amount]PvP Server Only

Run /bounty with no arguments to see the top 10 active bounties. Put a price on someone's head with /bounty <player> <amount>, paid in Vote Diamonds from your inventory — bounties stack if multiple people target the same person. Whoever lands the killing blow on a bountied player automatically collects the full reward.

PvP Leaderboards

/stats, /top

/stats shows your own kills, deaths, and K/D ratio (plus your team's, if you're on one). /top shows the server-wide top 5 killers.

Teams

/team

Band together with /team create <name>. Owners and mods can /team invite and /team kick, and set ranks with /team rank <player> <MOD|MEMBER>; anyone can /team leave, check /team info, or accept/deny invites. Spend Vote Diamonds on /team upgrade to raise your team's level — each level costs more (12, 24, 48, then 96 diamonds), raises your member cap (from 2 up to 6), and unlocking a shared /team home once you reach level 5. Teams are separate per server, so your Survival, Skyblock, and PvP server teams are independent of each other.

Duels

A full 1v1 duel system with custom kits, wagers, and spectating.

Challenge a Player

/duel [player]

Running /duel alone opens a player-picker menu (plus buttons for your duel stats and any ongoing matches to spectate). Target someone directly with /duel <player> to open the match setup screen, where you choose the number of rounds (1, 3, or 5 — best of), a kit (or fight in your own gear), a wager in Vote Diamonds, and an arena.

Accepting a Duel

/duel accept, /duel deny

The challenged player gets a chat prompt to accept or deny. Accepting opens a screen to set their own wager — whatever's lower between the two offers is what actually gets wagered, and both players are told if it was adjusted.

During the Match

Both duelists are teleported to the arena, healed up, and given their chosen kit before a short countdown. Each round has a 2-minute timer; if nobody wins in time, it's called a draw and replayed. A scoreboard tracks the round score throughout the match.

Spectating

/duel spectate [player]

Watch an ongoing match from the arena's spectator spot. Use /duel leave to stop spectating.

Winning & Wagers

The winner is announced server-wide, your duel record updates, and the combined wager pot is credited straight to your Vote Diamond balance (redeemable via /redeem) instead of being handed over as physical items. Disconnecting mid-duel counts as a loss, and you can't start or accept duels while flagged in PvP combat.

Economy & Progression

Points & Prestige Ranks

/emeraldbalance, /rankup, /rankEarly Access

A server-wide Points system tracks your progress through a ladder of Prestige Ranks, from Settler up to Mythic. /emeraldbalance shows your Points and current rank, /rankup opens a menu to spend Points climbing the ladder, and once you reach the top rank you can Prestige to reset back to Settler with a Prestige star and start the climb again. /rank top shows the server-wide leaderboard.

Daily & Lifetime Challenges

/challengesEarly Access

Complete daily and long-term goals — mining, farming, fishing, PvP kills, boss fights, and more — to earn Points toward the rank ladder above. Keep a daily streak going, or finish a challenge on all three servers in one day, for bonus Points.

Secure Player Trading

/trade <player>Survival Only

Sends a trade request (30-second expiry). Once accepted, both of you get a synced trading window — place your items, lock in your offer, and once you both accept, the items swap safely. Cancel any time to get your items back.

Browse the Player Market

/marketSurvival Only

Opens a searchable catalog of everything currently for sale in player shops server-wide. Click an item to see which shops sell it and where to find them.

Claim Vote Rewards

/redeem

Every vote you cast (see /vote above) queues up a reward — run /redeem to collect them all as Vote Diamonds. Vote on at least 4 of the 6 sites within 24 hours and you'll get a temporary render-distance boost as a thank-you.

Claim Daily Rewards

/reward

Once you have a home, you'll earn a Daily Reward every 24 hours. Run /reward to collect everything you've banked, paid out as emeralds.

VIP Perks

Rank perks that make life a little easier, for those who support the server.

Auto-Join Your Favorite Server

/autojoin <survival|skyblock|pvp|clear|status>Supporter or higher

Set a preferred destination and you'll be routed there automatically whenever you connect through the Hub.

Bottle Your Experience

/xpbottle <amount|all>Supporter or higher

Converts your stored XP into vanilla Experience Bottles you can carry, trade, or store away.

Toggle Server Announcements

/broadcastsSupporter or higher

Turn off the periodic tip broadcasts if you'd rather not see them — a personal preference that doesn't affect anyone else.

Block Incoming Teleport Requests

/settings tpaVIP or higher

Stops other players from sending you /tpa requests altogether.

Name Color

/settings namecolorVIP+ or higher

Pick a colored name in chat and the tab list — currently red or gold.

Bigger Ender Chest

Supporter or higherPvP Server Only

On the PvP server, right-click any ender chest (or type /ec) for an upgraded storage chest. Higher ranks unlock more rows: 4 for Supporter, 5 for VIP, and a full double chest (6 rows) for VIP+. On Survival and Skyblock, ender chests are the standard vanilla 3 rows for everyone.

Damage Protection

/damageSpecial Perk

Toggles immunity to fall damage and starvation (not combat damage). Not available on the PvP server, where full damage always applies.

Colored Item Renaming

Special Perk

Certain ranks can use color codes when renaming items in an anvil, so your renamed gear shows up in real color instead of raw formatting codes.

Social & Friends

Manage Your Friends List

/friend add|accept|deny|remove|list (alias /friends)

Works across every server, not just the one you're on. /friend add <player> sends a request (auto-accepted if they already sent you one), and /friend list shows everyone's online/offline status and which server they're on. You can also manage friends visually from /menu.

Chat

Switch Chat Channels

/chat (alias /c)

Change which channel your messages go to: Global (server-wide, limited to 2 messages per 20 seconds to keep things readable), Local (only heard by nearby players — 1,000 blocks, or 250 on the PvP server), Supporter (Supporter rank and up), and Team (your teammates on that server). You can also mute Global chat entirely for yourself with the toggle option.

Keeping Chat Clean

Messages that are mostly capital letters, or contain blocked words, are automatically filtered out to keep chat readable and friendly.

Server Announcements

The server periodically broadcasts helpful tips, like reminders about /discord, /vote, and the rules.

Server Menu

Your Command Center

/menu (alias /m)

One menu with quick access to everything: Home, Spawn, Waypoints, Teleport Requests, Friends, Teams, Preferences, and (on Survival) Shops, plus a link to the store. Along the bottom you'll find Duels and Bounties (PvP server), Vote & Redeem and Daily Reward (with a glowing icon whenever you have something to claim), and — as they roll out fully — Challenges and Rank.

Preferences Panel

A single settings screen for toggling Damage Protection, PvP, Auto-Broadcasts, Incoming Teleport Requests, Auto-Join, Name Color, and Challenge Alerts — each one shows the rank you'd need if it's currently locked for you.

World & Server Features

Skyblock Islands

Skyblock Only

Running /start on Skyblock generates a small floating island for you — a platform with a starter ore vein, a biome-appropriate tree, and a loot chest with a handful of useful starting items.

Call In a Supply Drop

/supplydrop (alias /drop)PvP Server Only

Costs 6 Vote Diamonds. Once called, a countdown boss bar shows where a loot-filled chest will land, marked by a beacon of particles. There's a personal 1-hour cooldown and a server-wide 10-minute cooldown between drops, and the best loot (enchanted gear, totems, shields, even a Tracking Compass) is much rarer than the common supplies.

Dragon Respawns

In the End, placing all 4 End Crystals back on the exit portal (once the dragon is dead and no respawn is already underway) brings the Ender Dragon back the vanilla way — no special items needed.

Bonus Render Distance

Everyone gets a default view distance; voting on enough sites in a day (see Vote Diamonds & Rewards above) temporarily doubles it.

Death & Stat Tracking

Every death you take feeds directly into your personal stats and the server-wide leaderboards used by /stats and /top.
